Exodus was created by Betsy Medvedovsky and Katya Apekina:

"Exodus is a Passover themed art project: a self-guided walking tour of the events of Passover, as mapped onto contemporary Los Angeles.

Our starting point is the Haggadah supplication that “in each generation, each person is obligated to see himself or herself as though he or she personally came forth from Egypt.” We want to take ourselves back to the Exodus, imagine ourselves there, and take tour attendees along with us so that they can also get a glimpse of the period of bondage, the stress of the flight and the dubious relief of freedom.

The audio tour will have seven stops, interweaving the Passover story with music, stories, an oral history collage, and commissioned art pieces.

The stops will take place in resonating sites in Highland Park, a neighborhood of Northeast Los Angeles."
